First
issue produced under Decision Games.
Objective:
Tunis
is an operational level simulation of the World War II battles fought during
late 1942 between Axis and Allied forces for control of northern Tunisia. Had
the Allied army succeeded in breaking though and capturing Tunis, Rommel’s army
in Libya would have been trapped and the war in North Africa would have been
shortened. The period covered starts 11 November and ends 9 December 1942.
There are two shorter scenarios ("Spearhead" and "Battle for the
Ports") and one that covers the whole period.
Part of the "Battles for North
Africa" Series. The other games in the series produced by 3W were: Decision
At Kasserine, O'Connor's Offensive, Hellfire Pass, Rommel at Bay, Patton Goes
to War, and Race For Tunis.
