A war in Europe during the 1980’s was primarily going to be decided, one way or the other, in West Germany. Other fronts and theaters were therefore almost irrelevant in the short term. Considering the Soviets’ exceedingly optimistic timetables by which they intended to overrun West Germany, events elsewhere would have not even played out before the war ended (either by mutual annihilation or by rapprochement). more info

The single player actively commands the invading Japanese forces, while the rules system directs him in the deployment of the defending Chinese. The player wins by capturing key areas on the map. There are two sides in the game, the Swedish Empire (Empire for short) which is defined as Sweden and its allies, and the Russian Coalition (Coalition for short), which is defined as Russia and its allies. Players conduct Actions which generate discrete movement, combat, and other operations. Each turn represents a season of operations.
